MT Advantage Career Center Training
Scholarships are awarded to individuals who are genuinely interested
in learning medical transcription and/or furthering their transcription
education in our advanced program. Applicants must submit a short
paragraph outlining what they feel they will achieve by participating
in the scholarship. Guidelines for submitting this information are
shown below. There is no application form.
This scholarship
is for 60% off the regular price of $3695.00 for the entire online
advanced program and all downloads, software, etc. The remaining balance
of the tuition is $1478.00, which must be paid in full upon enrollment.
What is included with the Scholarship Program?
This Scholarship Program is for all U.S. citizens that have been dramatically affected by the economy. The scholarship program allows us to offer the same level of training (with the same high quality MT training program) at a deeply discounted price. Scholarships are given to qualified applicants. Everything that is included in the Advanced MT program is included in this scholarship. There is nothing else to purchase.
On what basis are Scholarships awarded?
The Scholarship Program was created and financed by the marketing division of the school. Scholarships are not given out based on academic credentials or hardship/need. Instead, they are given out according to our ability to market and track the success of the recipient.
Scholarship criteria:
1. The MT Advantage Career Center Scholarship covers 60% of the cost
of tuition for each participant. The applicant must be willing to
commit to completing the entire curriculum within an 18 month period.
2. Award recipients must agree to allow accounts of their training
experience to be used in future print and/or electronic media (text
only, no video or photos) for advertising or other legitimate school
purposes.
3. Applicants must be at least 18 years old at the beginning of training, and a United States citizen.
4. Scholarships are valid for the Advanced MT program only.
5. Scholarships are valid for the entire program. There is nothing
else to purchase.
6. To apply, simply click on Enroll Now and fill out our enrollment form. At the bottom of the enrollment form, submit a short paragraph, no more than 100 words, stating your reason for requesting this scholarship. These reasons may include economic hardship, desire to improve transcription skills, and/or desire to work at home. Note: This scholarship is NOT dependent upon financial need.
7. Once the enrollment form has been completed, DO NOT process your payment through the shopping cart which is not set up to accept the scholarship. The scholarship must be set up with one of our career counselors over the phone. Just give us a call stating you'd like to enroll with the scholarship option and be prepared to give your credit card information. It's that simple!
8. Upon approval, recipient will be enrolled in the Advanced MT program. Notification will come with complete instructions via email within 24 hours.
9. If an applicant provides false information on the application,
it will void the scholarship.
11. No cash refund of this scholarship is available.
12. Important: This scholarship is not complete until the student graduates from the program. Student must achieve a B average or better at completion of program. Upon graduation, scholarship monies go toward the final payment of the course and does not need to be paid back by the student. By accepting this scholarship, you agree to these terms and conditions.
