Our Founder
MT Advantage was founded by Margery Hinman, CMT, an experienced MT
college instructor, owner of a large MT service, who is also a published
writer. She was owner of a large and growing medical transcription
service in Eastern Virginia and a Certified Medical Transcriptionist
for many years through AAMT/AHDI. Margery has been mentoring private
students and other individuals for a number of years, and almost all
of her students are still successfully employed in the field of medical
transcription.
As a medical transcriptionist since 1981, Margery is aware of the problems graduates of other medical transcription courses face. Her vision is to eliminate these hurdles for the new student by providing quality education through an expert, quality education program.
