This Basic MT program includes all ONLINE coursework and materials for you to become proficient in clinical office dictation. It includes the same Medical Terminology, Medical Specialties, Editing and Proofreading, Style Guide training, Grammar and Punctuation courses that our Advanced MT program does. However, the Basic MT program does not include any books or flashcards.

The only differences are the Basic MT program teaches Basic to Intermediate clinic dictation only and does not include Intermediate or Advanced coursework. Job placement, resume preparation, books and business training are also not included with this Basic MT program, although we will give you information on how to get a lot of this yourself, saving you money.

This self-paced Basic MT program is designed for students who wish to obtain an entry-level position in a medical office or pursue a career as a Medical Transcriptionist working from home doing clinical dictation. There are many, many national medical transcription employers who do not do hospital dictation, so finding a job at home is not difficult for someone who has been properly trained.
